Welcome to the very first post on rrt.ca! After years of building and learning, I’ve finally decided to document my journey and share my insights with the wider community. This blog will be a space to delve into topics that truly excite me and drive innovation in the tech world.

One of my primary focuses will be on AI Development, particularly the incredible advancements in Large Language Models (LLMs). We’ll explore how to harness the power of tools like Claude and Gemini, and how platforms such as Aider are reshaping the way we interact with code and build intelligent applications. The evolution of LLMs is ongoing, and understanding their capabilities and limitations is crucial for anyone working in modern software development.

Beyond the realm of artificial intelligence, I’m passionate about building robust and scalable infrastructure. This is where Infrastructure as Code (IaC) comes into play, with a deep dive into Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud resources. Coupled with Terraform, we’ll also examine HashiCorp Vault for secure secrets management, ensuring that our applications and infrastructure remain protected in an increasingly complex digital landscape.
